Two Out Of Two For Youth - McQuoid brace sends Under 18s on their way

Two goals from Northern Ireland Youth International Josh McQuoid and further strikes from Davidson and Webb gave Joe Roach's Under 18 side another victory at the weekend.

The 4-3 victory over last season's Champions Oxford makes it six points from two games in the Youth Alliance League. Cherries cruised into a two goal lead before Oxford made a game of it.

After the match Joe Roach said, "I thought we did really well Once again we took training ground scenarios into the game. We lost a little quality and composure perhaps trying too hard, but after the half time chat I thought the lads did exceptionally well. They listened, took on the information and worked really hard.

"We kept getting a two goal lead and then falling asleep. We looked comfortable to win the game a lot more comfortably than we did if we hadn't let a couple of sloppy goals in. However it does make them realise you can never sit back and accept you're going to win a game.

"We're a few players light with injuries, but the lads who have come in have done really well for themselves. The attitude has been really good throughout the team so far and we've continued the pre-season form into the League."
