Perrett On The Way Back - Physio hopeful of light training next week

Cherries physio Steve Hard says central defender Russell Perrett could be back in light training as early as next week.

Perrett was admitted to hospital two weeks ago suffering breathing difficulties and a range of tests came back all clear.

Russ has been on painkillers for the past two weeks and doctors diagnosed him with a bout of pleurisy. (click for more information on this).

Pleurisy usually clears up two weeks after the infection is under control and Hard believes Russ could be in shape to begin some light work next week.

It may be a little longer before he returns to first team action and Manager Kevin Bond said, "He won't be back with the first team for the foreseeable future. I am bothered about not having him available, but until that becomes imminent he's in the hands of Steve."
