Double Win For Depleted Youth Squad
Double Win For Depleted Youth Squad - Under 18s take control of 2nd place
Cherries Under 18s are now firmly in second place in the Youth Alliance South West Conference thanks to six goals and six points in the last two matches.
Despite a squad dogged by unavailability, Joe Roach's men offered a seamless performance against Bristol Rovers at the weekend. The 3-0 win backed up a 3-1 victory over Hereford United the week before.
Head of Youth Joe Roach brought in talent from the Under 16s and a number of the schoolboys are set to be involved in this evening's reserve encounter against Bristol City comprising the likes of Lee Trundle, Scott Murray et al.
The experience of competitive matches will only bode well for the schoolboys heading into the youth development programme next season as the youth production line continues to involve players in first team matchday squads
