Focus Is Entirely On Walsall Match Says Gaffer - Bond not concerned with other results
Cherries Manager Kevin Bond says he's not going to be worrying about results from Crewe and Gillingham throughout Cherries' vital match at Walsall tomorrow.
Two teams above Bournemouth need to drop points in the remaining three matches to give Bond's team any chance of League One survival. And although finishing the season with seven straight wins still might not be enough, Bond says the team have to focus entirely on matters they can influence.
Crewe Alexandra picked up a vital win at Yeovil last week. Speaking about that game and looking ahead to Walsall Bond commented, "It's very disappointing but we can't affect their results, we can only apply as much pressure as we can on the teams above us. We're just pleased that with three games to go that we're still in the running. Everyone is ready to take their part and do their bit.
"We're playing well and we're confident so we'll be giving it our best shot. Walsall are a well organised team with a bit of pace in there. They're still trying to grab a play off spot so hopefully it'll be a cracking game
"We've been putting in good performances and we want to keep fighting for as long as we possibly can. I'm expecting a really hard game on Saturday. They've got a great incentive still in the League so they won't be giving anything less than 100%."
