Community Sports Trust Beach Event Success - Club enhances council links

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust joined together with Dorset Rugby Development and Bournemouth Borough Council in organising a Beach Football and Rugby event on Boscombe Beach for colleges, 6 teams took part including Bournemouth and Poole College who are pictured after taking part in the football.

The morning session involved coaching, gaining an understanding into the skills needed for both events which lead to an afternoons competition which involved all the teams completing in five football matches and 5 rugby games.

Steve Cuss, Head of Community Sports Trust at AFC Bournemouth said "Working in partnership with the Council and the Community Rugby Team has enabled us to offer this great opportunity to the colleges, one I hope was enjoyed by all".
